St B’s Youth

Please note that no groups are meeting in the church buildings for the duration of the coronavirus crisis.

‘Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity’ 1 Timothy 4:12

The Youth ministry at St B’s exists to support young people growing in relationship with God, in their faith, and to be equipped to tackle the daily challenges young people face. Our aim is to connect with other Christians, build a community of love and honesty, to be an active member of Gods church, and to reach out to our local community.

Sunday Youth

As part of our regular Sunday Service, young people spend almost half the service in a group specifically for them. During our time together we build friendships, learn about God and the bible relevantly, discuss the hot topic, and play lots of fun games.  All are welcome, whether they have been to church before or not.

Youth House Groups

We run 3 mid-week youth house groups during term time. Youth house groups provides the opportunity to build honest and loving relationships, pray and encourage one another, explore Jesus, work through the many challenges that face young people and eat plenty of biscuits!

  • Girls House Group (Y9’s – Y13’s) – Tuesday – Bethan Lawler house
  • Younger House Group (Y7’s & Y8’s) –  Thursday – Dani and Phil Knox house
  • Boys House Group (Y9’s – Y13’s) – Thursday – Josh Deeks house

Youth Socials

Throughout the year we run a number of different Youth focused socials such as church sleepovers, Go-Karting, laser quest, bowling, ice skating, and many more!

Weekends Away

Once a year St B’s Youth have their very own weekend away! This a chance for the young people to let off some steam, dig deeper into a relationship with God and faith, and basically have brilliant time away. In addition we attend the annual summer St B’s youth trip to Soul Survivor

QYFC – UNITE Youth Events

We encourage our young people at St Boniface to attend the variety of youth events run by Quinton YFC. These ‘Unite’ events empower young people to serve and make a difference in their local community. Taking young people from the various different churches in Quinton, they engage in social action projects, visiting different community groups, and helping them explore the Christian faith through their Youth services.
